Women put a lot of effort into looking good and dressing well, but too much make-up can be a huge put-off for men, here are the top turn-offs.

Too much foundation - less is definitely more.
Make sure you don't lay it on too thick otherwise your face will look like you've got loads of foundation caked on, and the same goes for too much powder.

Overdone eyes.
Eye shadows to go for are colours that complement you skin tone and maybe surprisingly, hair colour. It may be the latest trend to go for bright neon pinks and greens, but make sure they work for you. Eyes are a very powerful feature on a face, so more subtle colours will let the eyes capture the attention, bold colours can be too distracting.

Sticky lips.
Gloopy lip gloss or lipstick is a big no-no for men. No man wants to be left with sticky lip gunk after stealing a quick kiss, so opting for a more elegant matte lipstick is a much better choice. Lips that are too shiny, glossy or sparkly look unnatural and can be a real put-off.

Lay off the sparkle.
Heavy bronzer and sparkling highlighters can look great but are easily over done, anything too glittery will look childish or over-the-top and no man wants to have loads of glitter rub off on them.
